Hi Everyone --

I has been a very quiet week -- not too much going on.

Hannah took 2 exams this week (English and Literature). Just one left -- math. She took History and Physics last week. BYU received and graded her History -- A for the class, but they haven't received the physics exam yet. It seems we have to pray those across the ocean all the time.

Doug had Friday off work -- India Labor Day. The folks from church talked him into going to the beach -- Alibaug. He got to fly his new kite from China (which worked great) and they waded in the dirty water and had lunch at a restaurant. Hannah and I stayed home so there was room in the car for Mary, Mahashwari, and Hameed. Mahashwari had never flown a kite before, Hameed went para sailing, and they all just had a fun day out.

I have been working on cleaning out the freezer of food so that when the power goes out and we are out of the country, the whole fridge won't spoil. We have 10 more meals before we head home! Not bad!

The power situation has changed as of May 1, but I don't understand it yet. I would expect there to be more load shedding since it is getting hotter and there is less water in the reservoir, but apparently we will have fewer and shorter power cuts this month. I'm going to keep an eye on it because it's just mostly random.

We have been healthy and well. Doug and I went out to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner last night (Hannah was babysitting). It was good, but the music was loud. The clientele were mostly expat Europeans and Americans and rich Indian youth. Interesting.

We hope you have a great week!
Love, Lucinda
