Hi Everyone --
It's been very hot here this week. They even said in the paper that we were having a "heat wave." It's been in the 40 C which is much above 100 F. Luckily we have air conditioning, we stay out of the heat of the day and the sun, and we drink lots of water, and eat ice cream. Life just goes on as normal around here. One Indian man told me this week they like it hot.
For our outing this week, we went to another Expo -- mostly because it was in an air conditioned tent. It was much like the last one, but it's fun to look. I found a great camel stool and brought it home. Doug is still shaking his head over it. I really got it for the grandkids to play on when they come to our house when we get back. Luckily, the lady I bought it from also has matching elephant stools too, so hopefully I'll be getting a friend for it in the next couple of weeks. Heather's kids Anna (4) and Max (1) came and played on it. They had a blast. Anna was riding it and said she was going to Israel. Israel is a great place to have a camel!
Hannah's school work is moving along nicely. She is nearly ready for 2 final exams -- finish the speedbacks, send in the portfolios, and order the exams. Heather has been approved by BYU to be a text proctor, so that takes care of a big problem. The exams will be sent by BYU to John Deere in Moline, sent to India John Deere by pouch, Heather will give the exam in one of the conference rooms at the Tech Center, then send it in the pouch back to Moline, where it gets sent US mail to BYU. Hopefully, there won't be any glitches in that smooth process!
We're still working on our summer plans. One of these days, we'll let you know exactly what is happening, but we hope to be in Maryland, Tennessee, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, and Utah. Now that's what a vacation is all about!!!
Have a great week! We love you and miss you!
Love, Lucinda

I remember Ryan rolling his eyes about a lovely bullock cart. Some people just don't appreciate fine craftsmanship when they see it. I can't wait to see the elephant benches.
