Hi Everyone --

Our most exciting event this week was having Michelle and Ryan come. It was touch and go for a while (since their plane left 2 1/2 hours late from Columbus and they missed the flight to India), but they got on the flight the next night to India. They were only 24 hours late in arriving. They only had one bag get lost too. Unfortunately, it was the bag with all the goodies in it! It is supposed to be
delivered here in Pune today or tomorrow. That would be a good thing!

Michelle is suffering from jet lag. She didn't sleep very well on the plane, and seems to have her days and nights mixed up. Ryan is doing better -- which is good since he has to go to work at the hospital tomorrow.

Doug and Ryan went to haircuts, shaves, and head massages yesterday. Dad's face is still tingling! Ryan is up for any adventure we can find for him.

We had a large group at church today -- 8 people. We had a new guy who is now engaged and getting married next spring in Salt Lake. We also found out that Alfred and Ratna are moving back to Bangalore before Christmas, so that means we lose 2 more. This is a very fluid place for church members.

Hannah was sick this week -- first with a cold then with a migraine. She is better and will attend school every day next week.

We started shopping for Christmas decorations this week. We found a couple stores that sell all kind of crazy things like that and that they are owned by Christians. They said their stock would be there and out for display by Dec. 1. This could be a very interesting Christmas season.

We had a nice Thanksgiving dinner at the fancy hotel here in town. They cooked turkeys and had a big buffet set up with all the trimmings. It was very fun -- our group had 20 people -- some from John Deere and some from GM, but all from America. It was fun to get together and have good food. It was expensive though -- $125 for 3of us. That's ok -- that's the cost of living in India. I read today in the paper that they will have a Christmas and New Years buffet there as well -- but international in flavor.

We are doing well and and excited about having Michelle and Ryan here for an extended time. Hopefully, the jet lag will diminish and we'll be able to have fun all the time!

We miss you lots!
Love, Lucinda

Fun times. Hopefully Michelle and Ryan won't get too spoiled by India. And now, it's time to work on our destination Christmas 2008. Yahoo! I'm glad that you yahoos get to have fun together. Ride some elephants and camels for us. We'll live vicariously through you.
