Hi Everyone!

I guess the monsoon is over now. We haven't had any rain in a week or more. The gardener has to water all the yard and the plants on the balcony every other day now. It cools down at night still and it is hot in the sun. The afternoons (so far) get cloudy and cooler, but no rain. October is supposed to be hot again and then it is supposed to be "cold" in November and December.

We were able to watch Saturday a.m. General Conference this morning here at home. We get it on the Internet on BYU-TV. We will watch one session each week until we get done. Next week we travel to Mumbai because it is pot-luck Sunday.

We had the Geico representative for dinner one night this week. Dad decided to usher it out the front door. He did very well with the top to the egg carton and a chair. (Almost sounds like lion taming!)

We went to a John Deere expat party last night. It was fun. Dinner was still at 10 p.m. When in India, do as the Indians . . . . .

We are making reservations for our trip to Thailand. We have plane, hotel, tour, and sleeper/train reservations. Now we need to get the beach resort reservations. We will be gone about 10 days. It really sounds fun!

Doug has next Friday off work for a Muslim holiday. Hannah still has school though. I don't know what we'll do for fun.

We are still doing fine and we are all healthy.
We love you and miss you!
Lucinda

What? Couldn't Dad get comfortable on the floor? I guess he probably didn't have pillow to put on his stomach, and a carpet to lay on with his feet on the wood floor. What a life!
Corbin turns 5 today. He was lucky enough to even get a birthday cake. That means he's been on my good side for a couple of days. I send you some pictures of the party when I get a chance. Love you.
